TOKAY GECKO

One of the largest gecko species, averaging 10–12 inches but capable of growing up to 16 inches long.


This gecko has a thick, cylindrical body with a large head and powerful limbs.


Its body is typically a bluish or grayish color covered in bright spots that can be red, orange, or black. Can change its skin color to camouflage with its surroundings.


Did you know?

If threatened, it can shed its tail to escape, and the tail will regenerate in about three weeks.

LEAST CONCERN (LC):
Less likely to become endangered anytime soon.
